Deleting workspace is pretty drastic, but it will work. I have found that if you go into the temp folder under documents & settings, (ie C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Temp
And delete XPDPLAT folder and any other folder beginning with "notes", (in my case it was notesFCBCEE), it seems to release your Notes client and let you get on with life. Thanks for that IBM. You guys can't write software....
